The Krab 84.09 SA also called KRAB Heavy is conceptually similar to Krab 84.09 but it is modified for coupling with a railway vehicle.
It also contains derailment prevention and derailment protection systems.
The wheels of Krab 84.09 SA have larger diameter, which together with a total weight of about 120 kg, ensures greater in-track stability.
