TURTLE

TURTLE is a towed railway measurement trolley developed for efficient track geometry and rail profile inspections. Designed to be pulled behind a railway vehicle, the system provides accurate measurements of selected track geometry parameters and rail wear profiles. TURTLE is particularly suitable for tramway networks and can operate on both vignole and grooved rails. By combining measurement data with synchronized track images, the system helps infrastructure managers and maintenance teams assess track condition and support maintenance planning.
